Modular Timber Shade Structures
Theca Timber has developed a modular engineered timber roofing system designed specifically for swimming pools, sports courts and covered outdoor learning area’s (COLA). Based on a rectangular grid with multiple width, length and height combinations, the system can adapt to a wide range of functions and site conditions.
Its modular design allows for easy expansion or reduction, making it highly flexible for a range of uses. Roof batten spacing can be adjusted to accommodate different roofing products and façade elements, such as shading panels or louvres can easily attach to the timber super structure.
Engineered from sustainable European timber the structures captures and sequesters carbon, contributing to a lower environmental footprint. Fully prefabricated in a factory for efficiency, the modular timber structure significantly reduces on-site construction time minimising the impact of construction.
