Stiferite

Stiferite attention to QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Controls) made the company the undoubted market leader in Italy for the manufacturing of polyurethane rigid foam panels with over 80% market share and one of the top-3 in Europe.

The name Stiferite has been synonymous with thermal insulation for over 40 years. Its identity dates back to the 1960s, when the company was the first to introduce polyurethane rigid foam panels to Europe, in cooperation with the German Bayer. Over the years, Stiferite successfully maintained its character of “innovators”. Stiferite was the first to develop in its laboratories and production polyurethane foam panels with mineral fibre facers, as well as the first to use blowing agents that are harmless to the ozone layer.

Stiferite has a production capacity of 15 million square meters per year and it’s currently exporting to Europe, Africa and South America. In the last decade Stiferite increased its leading position in insulations due to the polyurethane rigid foam panels being called to substitute phenolic foams, mineral wool (rock wool) and expanded/extruded polystyrenes (EPS and XPS). Engineers and Architects specifically appreciate the possibility of having great insulation values up to R=5,6 in a drastically reduced thickness and with a long durability, if compared against the above materials.

Stiferite attention to QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Controls) made the company the undoubted market leader in Italy for the manufacturing of polyurethane rigid foam panels with over 80% market share and one of the top-3 in Europe. The polyurethane rigid foam panels produced are nowadays more than a dozen different types with innovative features in terms of fire performances (the first panel to reach Bs1,d0 class according to EN standards), enhanced rendering possibilities (tested with renders from the main international manufacturers), pairing with other materials (OSB or plasterboard) and ventilation of tile roofing with the creation of a specific patented system.

Isoventilato®

polyurethane rigid foam panels with a waterproof facer one side and a set of accessories to make it the ideal under-roofing-tile insulation and ventilated system.

Fire B

the most advanced PIR panel in terms of fire reaction, participating in the extinguishing process of the flame and increasing fire performances of the wall cladding.

Class SK

a panel used both indoor and outdoor. Due to its performance as base for rendering as well as insulation, Class SK is probably the most sold these days.

Isocanale®

a new concept for air duct works. A panelling system that can be routed, bended, taped and finally installed as part of a complete system for insulated air duct works.

Fire performances

tested after Grenfell tower case in London, equivalent to inorganic materials such as mineral wools and according to some tests such as the Broof test as per EN 13501-5 or the ISO 9705 “Corner Test”, Stiferite tested panels scored better than mineral wool.

Vapour barrier

as to say the possibility to face the panel with a vapour barrier like a 60 or 80 microns ALU film.

Compression resistance

tested according to the stringent standards and methods, to ensure that polyurethane rigid foam panels from Stiferite can be used as underfloor insulation.

Weather-proof systems

tested and guaranteed for up to 3 months exposed to weather conditions prior being cladded or roofed on.
